"I figured it was the actual flashcard that was causing the limitations so tried downloading the latest software/firmware from their website.

The 1st lot I installed was called 1.23 update (from their website) and updated the user menu along with the version of moonshell.

Unfortunately I decided to go a bit further and install the 1.4 update found on their forum and this has now bricked my fire card!"

The firecard is very hard to fully brick, and 99% of the time when it is bricked it is user error, i very much doubt a firmware update would brick the card if it was done properly.
