does fw 1.5 support 8 gb memory stick? if not what is the highest it supports? i plan to upgrade to cfw 3.90 m33 by the way, is that one good to use, if not what is the best cfw to use.... reply soon

no. you'd need at least 3.30(?) or higher.

best thing to do is stick with the higher custom firmware, as they have better compatability.
