i think somethings wrong with my PS2. It wont play games and im lucky enough to get one game goin a day. The weird thing is that it plays Swap Magic CD and other CDs like my Lens Cleaning CD. Its like it doesnt know what a DVD is let alone a game. And im putting in legit games. i just bought Sonic Heroes yesterday and its brand new and still wont play.

Please Help Me, Thanks in Advance.

I would opt for taking apart the system and cleaning the laser unit. Cleaning can be done with cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol. Note there are also other more in-depth methods of cleaning the laser unit. It is just that this is the easiest method and often produces good results.
If this doesn't work, next thing would be to adjust the laser units height by tweaking the 'white cog wheel'.
