im getting yellow light from my bitcomet...it says the listen port is block and it has caused me to get slow downloads..
it has caused me to get download speed below 10kbs...
im staying in a hostel and they provide me with internet...i just plug in the lan cable and enter the password they provided when i enter internet explorer and i will be able to go online..i read plenty of posts and most of them are about port forwarding...im not sure of how to do it in my case...any1 out here please help..?

I reckon they will have every port but essentials (80 8080 6667 7000 etc) locked down pretty solid. If you don't own the LAN there isn't much we can do.

Try going to http://192.168.2.1 and see if you get a blue or similar page asking you to login..
