Yeah, it's another "omgz my ipodz r teh brok" thread.

I've checked the hold switch it isn't on hold, I've tried toggling it and everything.

I've reset it.

I've held down Center and Menu for the reset which I picked up from apple's website to reset my iPod Mini (20gb) 2 years back.

I've drained the battery 3 days ago.

I've charged it fully, listened to it for maybe 10 minutes, shut it down by holding Play button for like 3 seconds and turned it on Hold so it wouldn't accidently turn on in my Coat Pocket.

I get on the Bus I was traveling on
iPod doesn't turn on, I tapped it in the back with my fingers twice softly to get the disk spinning (which Apple told me to do)

Still doesn't turn on, It's been on Charge from the Wall Charger for a day to my USB Computer charger it came with. The only thing plugged in my USB Ports are: Mouse and iPod. Keyboard is a different type of connector.

I can't even reformat it from my computer because it doesn't turn on so my computer could find it.

The Service Menu of the iPod which I can get to by pressing Center and Left wheel for about 8 seconds doesn't show up anymore because the iPod is just a piece of garbage.

I'm guessing the Battery of the iPod is just finally dead? But if that's the case... a year back I'd get that Battery icon on start up which Apple said that indicated it's time for a new battery.

a Day later mistakingly I dropped the iPod from my hands to the floor landing on the backside, when I picked it up it was on.

So does Apple just LOVE making that extra 3 bucks for a battery replacement when all they had to do was tell me to Slam my iPod in a floor? lol...

Anyways, if anyone else is having this exact problem or similar to it and you've solved it please post your fix here. I'd really appreciate it.

and I'm sorry for the bad English. It isn't my first language, I'm still learning it after 14 years.

Thanks.

Edit: I forgot to mention it's updated with the firmware and all.
