I really need help with img burn and clone cd

everytime that i open up img burn i geta log like this:

I 01:05:09 ImgBurn Version 2.4.0.0 started!
I 01:05:09 MicrosoftWindows Vista Home Premium Edition(6.0, Build 6000
I 01:05:09 Total Physical Memory: 3,275,456 KB - Available: 2,426,452 KB
I 01:05:10 Initialising SPTI...
I 01:05:10 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...

and it just stay like that it won't do anything when i use clone cd it stays at searching for SCSI/ATAPI DEVICES... CAN ANYONE HELP ME TO GET PAST THIS

This relates to Vista and HP computers, but it may be relevant in your case.
