Hi everyone. I recently modded a co-workers PSP using the Noobz 3.50 downgrader, and installed 3.80 m33 CFW on his PSP, and am planning on using it to make a pandora battery and memory stick over the next week or so, so that I may downgrade my own 3.51 PSP. I'm looking for some suggestions for CFW and homebrew to load onto both PSPs.

The biggest thing I'm looking for is an ISO loader/CFW combination that will support ISO's of games that require the more recent firmware versions. I also plan on using an SNES emulator (SNES9x, I believe) so a CFW that would support this as well would be ideal. Oh, and one other thing. Both PSP's are fat models, in case that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance.

Okay, so I read that m33 CFW has an ISO loader built-in? Is that correct? If it's going to be that easy, I guess all I really need to know is where to put the ISO files on my memory stick, and how to launch them using the XMB.

you pretty much have everything planned out correctly.

for your 3.51 psp, you MUST use pandora's battery and magic memory stick to get custom firmware; there is no other way. so borrow your co-workers psp, and follow THIS guide.

for running iso/cso games, ALL custom firmwares have a built in loader. what you would have to do is change the iso driver; very simple to do. when you're in the xmb menu, press select. that will bring up the vsh menu. scroll down to umd iso mode, and change it to sony np9660. exit the menu, and run your iso/cso.

where to put your iso files; you put them in the root of the memory stick (where you see PSP, MUSIC, PICS, etc). create a folder named ISO, and put all of your iso/cso in there.

as for snes, snes9xTYL 0.4.2 is what you want to use. you can find it at dl.qj.net. roms does not matter where you place them as you can browse the memory stick when running the emulator. but for easy finding, create a ROMS folder in the root of the memory stick, and place your roms in there.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

thanks a lot for confirming that. I'm excited to finally get my own PSP running, and I'm sure my co-worker will be overjoyed to know that he's all ready to start plugging in ISO files.
