I have some old five-year old + TDK 48X 700 MB CD-R that I still have around and I used many of these discs to burn many of the old PS1 and Divx/Xvid/MP3 backups I have. When I get Breaker Pro I plan on using these discs to play my PS1 backups on my slim PS2 but in the mean time I want to play some of the movie/music stuff I have on these old cds on my PS2 using SMSPlayer. Nero CD-DVD Speed identifies the disc manufacturer as Ritek and the code is 97m15s17f. I've heard from some that Ritek manufactured discs are quality. Is this the case? Will my PS2 laser be fine if I use these discs? Thanks in advance.
