SNES roms running slow

I am running cfw 3.71m33-4, and i have snes9xTyl v0.4.2 and all my roms runs slow, i have tried uping the speed to 333mhz and it does the same thing, the roms work fine on the pc, I had to add the .smc file extension to all of my roms before i put them on my psp because the psp would not recognize them, and my emulator and roms are in the 150 folder, can someone help me to get my rom speed to normal? And im guessing that the roms for the pc and the psp are the same?

no its the emulator. it runs faster on pc because a pc has a better processor so it can process the data faster.
theres not much you can do but tweak around with the settings

the reason why most emulators are slow is because they have to use different hardware for a different console so it doesnt use the hardware to the max.

I had this same problem and I played with the frameskip option and got it running quicker. You should try that, that may help. I put the frameskip to 02 and it seemed to work pretty well.

Is it rom specific? or do all roms lag. also are you usign a slim, because from what i've been hearing the slims SnesX is still a beta emulator and is not official yet.

what game are you trying to run i know some dont work at a good frame rate. i tried playing doom at got a frame rate of about 6 i think so it wasn't worth playing try upadateing to the newest version if its not already.

all of my roms run slow, but i messed around with the frame rate and got them to speed up a bit
