It seems my psp will no longer soft power off - or sleep whilst playing games anymore - not sure if this applies for ISO's but most certainly whilst playing playstation eboots.
I am running the latest m33 (3.90-2) and wonder if this is a simple settings thing or if there is something wrong??
Please dont use computer language too much because i dont get it.. yeah?

I'm sure this goes without saying but, have you checked your power settings??? cause i remeber there being an option for it under battery settings or somthing. Also as far as i know there is no M33 setting that has to do with power managment

no i checked all the settings - you might be thinking of the auto sleep feature but thats not what i mean.
Basically if - midgame- u fancy stopping you can normally flick the power switch and the psp will go into sleep and then if u flick it again you can resume from the exact point u left off
no longer can i do that midgame - i can when im on the XMB but not in-game - its wierd.
any other ideas people?

is this a slim or fat because i know there where some problems with the sleep mode on the 1.50 add on 3.71m33 but i dont know about 3.90m33.
if it is a phat try installing the new 1.50 v2 addon that might fix it like with 3.71m33

ok its a fat psp 3.90m33-2 and i just tried installing the v2 of the 1.50 kernel but it still does not sleep when running playstation games. Thing is it DOES work when on the XMB and when running isos. it only appears to be PS1 games that it doesnt work?

o try installing popstation that might help fix it.
3.71m33 is better though for psx games. but now you said it is to do with the psx sony emulator that say to me something to do with popstation the guide for installing it ishere
personally iv never had the problem of it not going 2 sleep on psx games but im not on 3.90m33
by the way i might be worng with the popsloader thing but thats what i thought might be causeing the problem.
