is there a way to extend it without haveing to open the psp up [something like a piece of glass or a fork] [thoughs wont work] that i could attach to the ir port and get a longer and WIDER range?


p.s. also when is there gonna be more remotes for the universal remote control homebrew? or a custom way of making one?

not really the distance for infra-red is about 20-150cm so its not very powerful and i dont think there will be any other remotes because as far as i know the app never gets updated. i did have a look for the txt files for remotes but i did find any but you could write one yourself if you know the code for each button on the remote to activate the infra-red.
