ok so i just recently had my 360 modded...Wanted to get into the whole backing up thing as soon as possible without being too technical for everyone. I also just purchased a new macbook pro 17" which is a fun toy but also my first mac so i dont know much about them. Long story short i have a bunch of backed up games that work fine, which a friend of mine made me on his PC. I want to copy the backups now and return them to him but i dont know what program to use on this computer without dual booting or all that. I did burn a backup of skate which i had downloaded and i used iBurn360 and the game said wrong region when entered into my system even though it was supposed to be ntsc and i do live in the US. The logo for the game and the name of the game both came up so im assuming it burned correctly. My one question is, the file that I downloaded had 4 files in the folder:
sx-skate.dvd 4kb
sx-skate.iso 7.05gb
sx-skate.nfo 8kb
sx-skate.sfv 4kb
No i burned the iso file with iBurn360 but ive been reading that your supposed to burn the .dvd file? did I do the wrong thing and thats why it came up as the wrong region, or did i just DL a bad copy..?
My main focus here is to make 1:1 copy with a mac program of my other backups, and know exactly which file types to burn if i get downloaded copies..and i dont want a program where you have to change all the layer breaks and all that, I just want something similar to clonecd without the dual boot
