Hello i am trying to connect my toshiba laptop to my hdtv using a vga to component cable, so far with no joy. I was wondering if anyone knew if the intel 945g chipset that is in my laptop supportd component output? And if not what other options do i have? I already have s-video to scart so i can watch movies on my tv but i want to use the tv as a monitor.

Any help would be appreciated.
