Is there any way to take the ISO of a UMD movie and convert it to AVI or any other format for the computer? Even an emulator that can run the file on a computer works.

I think i know that you can rip the UMD to the computer by pressing select at the XMB menu the changing USB mode to UMD then connecting the psp to the computer and dragging it onto the comp. But from there on i have no idea!

Im stuck at the same part. I know how to rip them to the PC but after that, I'm stuck. Anybody else know? I don't want to be forced to have to buy a PSP slim in order to do this!

as far as i know there is no way of converting psp isos to avi because of the way they are set up they dont have vob files like a normal dvd does. what you could try (might not work) is to emulate the psp on your computer run the iso an try somehow to record it live. but i'v never tried it 0_<

no there is no psp emulator for pc.....well there kinda is...... but its rubbish as of right now...maybe it'll run the iso cause its just a vid....

You need UMD Tools in order to accomplish this,which isn't actually possible at the moment.Using an emulator won't work either,because there really isn't a fully working emulator for the psp.

I couldn't get this to work. Just get the error "SDL.dll not found". You would think that someone would create a program that does this.
