I recently hooked up my ps2 slim version with usbadvance the install went well but after i loaded the game on my harddrive and tried it out it was lagging real bad is there any way to fix this ? thanks guys for the future replies.

no way to fix the lag. the ps2 usb port is usb1.1, and it's slow. but it's the only way to play hdd games on v14 and up ps2.

fat ps2's have the best hdd gameplay, as you can use a regular IDE hdd from a computer, and the network adapter to connect the hdd to the ps2. also, hdloader 0.8b has the highest (around 95%) game compatability.
