Hi, I'm running firmware version 3.90 m33-2 with the 1.50 kernel. I just downloaded the SNES emulator and a few games with it. I put the right folders into my game folder, went into it on my PSP and the "game can not be started" error message came up. It never happened before the update, what am I doing wrong?

you need to put all homebrew into a game150 folder or you can change the kernel of the game folder to 1.50 in recovery mode. try putting them into game150 though that should work 0_<

Yeah it's phat. I have the youtube player on, though I don't know if that's homebrew only. I did have stuff on before I updated, but I accidentally deleted them.

right go to system setting then system information see what fw version it says there it should be 3.90m33 if not then your on a different fw. for the 1.50 addon you can get it here then all you need to do is download the 1.50 update and then place it in 150k_istaller and then rename it to 150.pbp then place 150k_installer into game on your psp and then run it and it should install then 1.50 kernel

It's working now, thanks a lot :)
While I'm here, I'm trying to put this custom theme on, but I don't know how. Where do I put the folder? I tried putting it into my THEME folder but it didn't work.

what type of theme are you putting in there the theme folder only works for the offical sony themes (even if its made by the sony theme maker program) which are PTF files if you have a ptf file put it in the theme folder for e.g
e:/psp/theme/themename.ptf
then go to setting then go to theme settings it should be there choose your theme and then it will change.
if its not a ptf file but a load of different roc and prx file theme this need to be put onto the flash0. warrning messing around with your flash0 can result in a brick
if you going to flash a theme here a program that will do it all for you but read the readme first

Shit, I think I bricked it. I tried putting the files into flash0, but there wasn't enough space, so I cut them to my desktop. It was only til after I did that I realized how stupid that was. Now only the backlight comes on when I turn on.

right see if you can access recovery menu (hold the power up till it flashes and turns off then turn it back on while holding the r trigger)
if you do get to the recovery menu open up flash0 and copy the sony files back.
if you cant get to recovery menu you will have to use pandoras battery to unbrick it. (tutorial if you click my userbar in my sig)
always make sure you have a back up before you start to do anything with flash0
i'v stayed clear of it but once i get my screen fixed ill start to have a go because of pandoras battery and the fact iv taken the hole console apart i realy think i dont care anymore and i usually know what im doing so nothing should go wronge lol
hope that all help and i hope that you can recover it because you where mucking about with the theme you should be able to get to the recovery menu. 0_<
