Im trying to update my dvd drive but i cannot figure out what kind of drive please help i am trying to use nero express to burn my video torrents. Can u help a noob

The simplest way I know is to install ImgBurn, run it and click 'Mode' 'Write' then 'Tools 'Drive' 'Check for firmware updates'
The drive firmware is diplsyed and you can click 'ok' and it will search for newer firmware.

Go to Device Manager, and it will show what drive you have.
