hello all,

Im not new to a backing up games and movies but wanted to know if any of you or know anyone you know has successfully backed up a 360 game using a DVD duplicator. If so, what software and/or drives are preferred for the duplicator?

PS: I mean duplicator as in the standaolne towers.

here is the standalone best tut for backing up 360 games

http://clevermod.com/index.php?article=12

and no you cannot copy 360 games with a duplicator, a duplicator is simply a device that copys files to more then one drive, it copies the same as a normal burner/reader combo would, just to multiple drives

the reason you cant just copy a game is because the secret sectors (ss files) are lost during the backup and copy, thats is why patching is needed;)

questions, comments, results?

do you know if these can be connected to a PC to make multiple copies at the time of burning the first ISO in an effort to somewhat preserve the drive?

Acard makes a USB 2.0 interface for their duplicator cards. I had one, it required a hard drive in the recorder - you transfered your ISO file onto the duplicator's hard disc, then burned. I never tried it with a 360, not certain if they'll burn to dual layer.
