I keep getting a message whenever I download something that is bittorrent

I download a file and whenever I download anything that is bittorrent it always gives me this message problem connecting to tracker-<urlopean error (7,'getaddrinfo failed')> what does this mean.I need help on this because I get this message alot.

When that happens to me, which doesn't happen very often, it means that noone is uploading that file that you are trying to download. It basically means that at that time there are no seeders uploading the file you are trying to download.

But if this is happening to you a lot, you might try downloading a different bittorent client. I use the ABC experimental client which works very well and you can change your upload speed at will.

Anways, just try that out and if that doesn't work, check to see how old those torrents are that you are trying download because after a while there really arn't many seeders left so you'll end up with that error message consistently.

Alright I fixed it man I couldn't use the ABC like you use because I use dial up and this program is mainly made for DSL or Cable so I used Shadows experimental works like a charm.Thanks for the help DrDan your info is most appreciated.The bittorrent 3.3 is a piece of shiat.Peace
