Metal Gear Solid 1 disk 2 help

i got metal gear solid 1 in 2 eboots (cd1 and cd2) im playing cd 1 and got to the part where snake goes down some stairs and then it asked me to "insert disk 2" and i dont seem to have a clue on what to do. ive searched round forums and saw some method using cwcheats but i cant seem to get the cheat menu while in the game "hold select for 3 seconds".

my psps is 3.90-m33 i got popsloader. i thought the popsloader had some sort of multidisk function (dark alex's website) anyone got any idea what i need to do

From what I've heard Metal gear is impossible to finsh because it does not ask you to save before inserting the second disk.

however, there are ways to create multi disc eboots so the whole game is in one file thus stopping the game from asking you to insert disc 2.. unfortunately i'm not sure where you can get those programs.. Try searching for Multi disc eboot creator or something.
