I am considering selling my Xbox, and all its accessories (games, AR disk and memory card, USB adapter, DVD Dongle kit, and hard drives). I want to format them all fresh (I wouldn't want to sell the Xbox modded with games and movies). So basically, I am going to include three extra hard drives (the stock one, a 40gb, and a 160gb). So could I use XboxHDM to format, and then sell them? Or would I have to ask the guy who made XboxHDM?

Corn.

ldots wouldn't give a toss.. honestly.. The drives don't contain anything he has done.

So you plan to return the dash to stock on all the drives and lock them? Do you really want comebacks about the drives not being usable in anything but that xbox?.. people are going to just take the large drive and shove it in a pc.. you know that don't you?

If you sell softmodded you are running a small risk of "facilitating piracy" accusations, but the risk is real small.. chips are another matter, tho M$ themselves don't and can't have any problem with them.

I'm not going to sell them softmodded. And truly, I don't care what they do with them, I'm just trying to raise money to get a new skateboard XD. I was just hoping I'd get more money out of it, with it being legal and all.

Can't see the point.. without being modded the drives aren't worth anything above second hand value.. minus quite a lot because they will be locked..

Have you thought of selling modded with just the big drive on craigslist? (still not worth much.. the bottom has fallen out of the market)

Hmm. Really all I need is $55.00. Do you think I'd even get that?

Dude you could get that easily for a Modded XBOx with a good sized HDD and some stuff on the drive. Ask around with some friends and see if they have friends and might even have friends that know other friends. I know someone one will cough that up. They sell them used at Game Stop for $59.99 anyway!
