Had PSP for 2 weeks only......3.90 M33-2 WIFI Problem!!

I was told to ask about this problem on here by a friend.

I bought a 1001 PSP fat-boy on an auction site from Hong Kong 2 weeks ago. Now it came with firmware 3.52 M33.....when i was trying to access WIFI router, i was constantly getting an internal error message (80410A0B).

So i then upgraded firmware to 3.52 M33-3 and my WIFI was fine i was connected to the internet browsing etc..

I then got greedy and wanted to see if i get could get the Internet Radio feature to work using DarkAlex firmware version 3.90 M33-2. Unfortunately, i am now getting the previous 80410A0B internal error code everytime i try to connect to my router.

Can anyone help please? I am new to the PSP world so be gentle.

Take out Umd, take out memory stick and goto setting and hit restore settings. If it freezes don't worry just take out the battery and place back in. It's an old sony issue

unfortunately the reset default settings fix doesn't work with my PSP. any other ideas?

Hahaha, guess what, I just checked and my phat is the same. Figured I'd install the internet radio to see if that makes a difference and it works fine but the internet doesn't. Same error. Haven't checked my slim yet though.


Got it. This is what I did on both phat and slim. I went into recovery and ran through fake region and back to where I was(don't know if it helped but that's what I did) then went to registry hacks and activated WMA and Flash Player. Hope it helps, both mine work now.

no that doesn't seem to be helping me either. what exactly do you mean by running through fake region? i went into the recovery module by holding down R and pressing power then i selected all the different countries but no joy.

how could i get myself back to 3.52 M33-3 from what i am on now, 3.90 M33?

would a private games console shop here in the UK be able to downgrade it for me do you think?
