windows xp....i dont know i dont have a clue..ive tried several movies using dvd decrypter...dvd shrink and dvd fab...still havent gone one that will play on my computer dvd or my home dvd

In order to help you, we really need information.
Do these movies make it to your computer and you cannot play the ripped files?
Can you play the original on your computer?
What brand of burner do you have?
Do you have programs running in the background?
We need to narrow it down as to what your problem might be.

ok..im new..need help bad..ill give the info..sorry for not being more precise.im taking the movies..and lets say run em thru dv shrink and it says it was succesfully done...i then burn with nero 8 trial edition..i just now realize i cant play the original on my omputer..my dvd burner is a hewlett packard...and i have surfed the net while this process was running.....

Try a different burning application that's more user friendly. DVDFAB PLATINUM, is the full feature DVD backup program. 30 day free trial. Has a great tutorial to get you started. Right click DVD43 in your system tray and close it before using DVDFAB. http://www.dvdfab.com/download.htm

Is the problem that the burned copy will not play or the ORIGINAL will not play ?? You said Shrink copied succesfull ?
All freeware > and use only quality DVD's >
1) Rip with DVD Fab decrypter http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm
2) Shrink file with DVD Shrink
3) Burn wih Imgburn - done
