This is a rather simple answer I know, but here is my dilemma:

I just built a new PC ( Thermaltake Armor Series VA8003BWS Black Full Tower Case w/ 250mm Fan, 2 120 mm, 2 90 mm; Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775; 4x 1 gig G-skill ddr2 RAM; MSI P6N SLI-FI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard; MSI NX8400GS-TD256E GeForce 8400GS Support up to 512M (256MB onboard) 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 Video Card; Rosewill RP600V2-S-SL 600W SLI Ready-ATX12V V2.01 Power Supply)

Been running fine since I set it up a few months ago. Now, I just reformatted the HD. While re-installing XP, it started to shut down without warning. I finally get it running after waiting 30 mins and figure it has to be the CPU over heating. The mount on the stock CPU fan wasn't holding fully, one of the legs seems to have deteriorated a little, so I take it off, clean it up, remove the old thermal grease, apply a thin layer of new arctic TP. I mount it as firm as possible, runs ok, until I run WoW. here are the temps after running WoW for 1-2 minutes:

Should I just pick up the ZALMAN 9500A 92mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler? Or is there another suggestion.

Thanks in advance.

an aftermarket cooler will work better than the factory intel. also, ditch the cheap rosewill psu, and get a proper unit, like a corsair 620HX.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Just realized that the "Core" temp that is flaring is the video card temp. What would you suggest to remedy that? New Video Card? Sorry, very very tired, frustrated, just looking to relax after a 12 hour work day and this is killing.

Thanks again.
