Ok, I've been trying to figure out how to download psx games and then burn them on to CD-R, but I don't even know where to start i've found a few ISO's online and downloaded them and I tried to use "fireburner" but it says something a about a taking something out of the .bin file, and all I have is a .bin file to burn on the disc,I'm assuming that that will not work? please help I'm a complete noob at this!
Where did you find psx games in iso format? Maybe there are a couple psx games wrapped up in that iso. Anyway they're usually in .rar, which after extracting the game image from the .rar or zip (it's usually a .rar) you should have 2 files (a .bin and a .cue) - the cue file is the link to the bin which is the game's image so open nero select the .cue and write it to a blank at 2-4x. play and enjoy.
well your right! it is in a rar, sometimes multiples and i have to unpack them all into the salme folder i guess, also what about some of these games that i get that are a little too big to fit on a 700 MB disk?
2x or 4x should be fine. i have used both and they work flawlessly. just out of curiosity where did you get these games? Oh and here is a pointer instead of replying twice you can edit the first message. ok. which ones are above 700 mb?
Um a tony hawk game I beleive, and I just tried that nero thing, and it didn't work at all, my playstation just says insert a playstation disc, does the cd itself have to be only 2 or 4X I burned it at 4 x but its a 52x cd
ok, your playstation has to be modified (chipped or use a no solder mod chip eg. psxchange 2 disc) if not you can't play backups/copies. don't worry about what the cd says just burn ps games at 2x or 4x.
ok thanks, and one more thing I just bought this do you think or have you heard about it working, I know how to solder but I hate doing it, it's a pain in the ass I use to do it for a living, but do you know if the specific product would work? heres the link http://www.modchipstore.com/Breaker-Pro-...disc-16172.html
