but I was wondering if these are as good media as the Maxells and if they should work? They also have HP's should I get those instead. I dont want to go buy a 100 pack and they not work..Thanks for the help

Actually, I have done a couple of controlled test on the memorex dvds wally world sells. The memorex dvd+r is junk. It makes the games slow loading and skip. The Memorex dvd-r's are wonderfull. They do a great job and I am sticking with those. Don't get the HP. Go for the memorex dvd-r's.

memorex are low quality discs. They will work at first, but give it 6 months and try to play those games again.

Memorex CD-Rs are great, but any other type of media, is low quality.

Please use Verbatim or Maxell, settling for whatever is there may be the best choice at first, but wear and tear on your PS2 will be the affect later.
