I am replacing an E6400/Freezer 7 Pro/Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 with a Q6600/Zalman 9700LED/Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4. I have the E6400 oc'ed to 3.2 with great temps, and I want to oc the Q6600 to 3.2 as well. My questions are:

What kind of temps are you all getting with the Q6600 oc'ed to 3.2 range with the 9700, and what options do I have since the fan plug is only 3 pin on the Zalman? I really don't wanna route the fan controller outside of the case. (The TT120 and Tuniq tower won't fit my case...)

EDIT: Got bit by the bug and added an Antec 900 and Antec neopower 650 to replace my current case and psu...

Just asking, why are you replacing your current setup? You really won't see a difference in games or normal tasks.

Ah, that makes sense then. About overclocking, the quad can hit 3.2 easily. I've hit 3.35 with an Asus P5K-E with this fan:

Some of the bios settings are different from the P965 on my core 2 setup. Anyone overclock a Q6600 on the EP35 DS4 yet? I could use some assistance... TIA
