I recently put up a batch torrent on the pirate bay. 39 GB's of 53 PSX eboot conversions I made, and 52 PSP original titles. I also added a bunch of individual torrents for each specific file. Check out thepiratebay.org/user/seclusive to see what I mean if this isn't clear enough.
so anyway... how do I know when i can stop seeding my torrents? There's a lot I don't get about this stuff.
for example, under one of my torrents, under Seeders it says 0(3) and Peers 11(23). What does this mean? I don't get why there are two different numbers... one outside of the parenthesis, and one within. What's the difference?
Also, the blue bar next to "Availability" on all my torrents are all multi-colored with empty gaps and such, and slowly increase. What does this mean? If I made the torrent and have 100% downloaded by default, doesn't that mean ALL of it is available to the public?
That brings up my next question... and that's... how do I know when I can stop seeding? do I have to wait until the "Availability" bar is 100% blue? It's confusing me even further though because even though some of these aren't fully blue, under Seeders in some of the torrents, it says 0(3) or whatever, so does that man 3 people have the file? If so, then what's with the 0?
Also, I check the stats on the pirate bay to see how many people are seeding and leeching and whatever, and some files say there's more than 1 seed already, but the Availability bar in utorrent isn't complete.
I'm SO lost. I really just don't know what the hell I am doing. I simply just want a way to know when there are enough seeders on a file so I can stop seeding them, and also want to know how I can tell when someone has finished downloading the file.
Any help please?
