Hi All, It's been a while since I've looked into this, but now that utorrent has tracking devices etc. (I don't need them!)what's the next best? Help appreciated, thanks guys.

Switch to a lower version of utorrent. Preferrably something below v1.6

Thanks, I think I had that, but I unwittingly updated it, now I have version 1.7.7. How do I switch to a lower version? I know I sound doh! but I'd rather ask than look around and waste time.
Also I downloaded Peerguardian, would that do the trick instead of switching? I like uTorrent, easy peasy.....

You could get an older version of uTorrent at
http://www.filehippo.com/download_utorrent/

But I do not think there is any reason to change your app.
There has been no evidence that uTorrent is doing "tracking".

PG2 and uTorrent will keep you as safe as any BT app.
