can ps2 load dvd rw dl?

My ps2 is the slimline 7701 NTSC, can it read dvd-rw, dvd+rw, dvd-rw dl and dvd+rw dl?

And to burn it in dvd rw, which one is more compatible with ps2, - or +?

My burner is the usb external LG gsa-4167b (says in imageburn), I think it supports dvd-rw dl, but I am not sure tho.. Also, I am not using mod chips, I am using memor32.

ya it support DVD+rw and -RW

you dont need to burn to DL-DVD, psp games at or over 700mb are burnt to cd-r's, over 700mb to a DVD-R/+R, ppl get better playback with DVD-R media then DVD+RW

Because Dual layer is pretty expensive, it would be awesome if I can burn it to a rw-dl, so all I need is 1 disc..

there is no point to that, as you can only put 1 game on one disc and games do not exceeded 4.7gb so alls you need is a DVD-R/+R (or RW if you want)
