I use Utorrent to download movie, games, etc. I let my little brother on my computer to do a project and the internet got messed up, so Mr. curious brother decided to try and take matters in his own hands and messed everything up. I came and reset eveything, i use a static IP a Linksys WRT54G router, I have the necessary port opened. Internet works fine now, but when I go to download a torrent, the tracker don't show correctly. I tried many different sites/torrents and torrent software so I know it isn't a torrent problem. I'll include a picture and if anyone can please help me, please do so. Thanks Alot.

Try going to Can You See Me and enter the port you are using in uTorrent, press Check.

If you get error, then you will have to re-check your router and software firewall permissions for uTorrent and its port.
Be sure not to use a port in the 6881-6999 range. Port is Blacklisted

This is a guide for the WRT54G and uTorrent:
http://www.portforward.com/english/route...4G/Utorrent.htm
There are some firewall guides at Portforward.com Firewalls.
You would choose your firewall and the the uTorrent program and it will give a guide specific to your firewall and uTorrent.
If it is not listed, then post back and I will see if I can find a guide.

If the test shows Success, then I am not sure what is going on.
Your ISP may be interfering with torrents.
Who is your ISP?

htanks for all the advice but these arent the problems, Verizon is my ISP and i downloaded torrents fine before and no torrents work its not that its the tracker problem, im thinkin my Ports jammed up some way i used port forward and followed everything but it says my port isnt open, but in reality it is.

Does the torrent ever connect, say if you leave it open for 15-20 minutes? I never knew why but Bittornado gave me the same result after resetting my router (DLink) and having worked fine previously, still did on a second computer with the same connection, figure that one. I went to utorrent and it showed the port closed when it wasn't and all red on the main page. After about 15 minutes, I got green lights on the page and after a week the port check stayed open and it started connecting in a minute or two. Maybe waiting or uninstalling and reinstalling utorrent, even the head mod at the utorrent forum never heard of this issue (think he was the developer).

Maybe, no clue but awfully coincidental unless a fair bit of time has passed since torrents worked. Check your port and ip address on the off chance they're entered incorrectly.

A System Restore to before your brother messed things up? Another reason for a good imaging program, I think you can get an OEM version of True Image (excellent and easy) if you have a Seagate or Maxtor HDD. Creating or restoring an image only takes a few minutes, burns to DVD if you don't have a second HDD and boots from a CD you make in case Windows doesn't.
