I purchased a Ati Radeon 7500 agp card to install into my old pc with ASRock K7s41 motherboard. I purchased a card b/c my acer(al1916w) came with Dvi-d port and my old pc just had vga port. After I install the card and turn on the power window automatically launched and hardware wizard, but I cancelled the process b/c windows hardware wizard recommend I should install driver with accompanying cd and that is why I cancelled the windows hardware wizard. When I try to install driver through cd, I received a warning. The hardware didn't pass windows color logo test compatibility test and if you continue installation it might cause system error and might not work properly. Do you wish to continue or stop the installation? I press continued and installed driver software. My first installation was not successful because I failed to overwrite previously install file on source file b/c it is newer than target file(file probably installed in windows temp folder?)
When I overwrite two files it seems to work o.k. However, texts is pixeled,stretched ,and I see no improvement in screen resolution. It seems getting worse and similiar to vga display. Furthermore, when I turnoff monitor's power overnight and tried to turn-on the monitor next morning screen is just black and monitor's power led light is green rather than yellow(working properly). I have to restarted the computer b/c monitor is black. I kept pressing keyboards but nothing happens. Did made a mistake during a installation process. If, so how do I unistall a software and reinstall? I know I can use add/remove feature in control panel,but don't know how to delete temp files? I don't know what is wrong b/c I can access all of the Ati program such as display setting, hydravision, scheme,help, troubleshooting options.

Whats you power supply rating of you PSU(In watts)? Example 100W. Do you meet the video card minimum requirements?
TEMP FILES FOR XP/2000 are located HERE:

1.) Turn off PC. Disconnect everything thats connected to your PC.

2.) Remove the PC cover to have access to your pc internally. Remove the graphics card and switch back to integrated graphics to confirm your monitor still works.

3.) Turn on your PC but tap F8 and choose "Safe Mode", then once in windows, go to control panel-add/remove and uninstall/delete the old video card driver.

4.) Turn off PC. Disconnect everything thats connected to your PC.

5.) Insert the Video Card carefully into the AGP slot. Be careful of ESD (Electro Static Discharge) you might damage your card if not handled correctly.

6.) Put your computer cover on and plug everything in. Plug in your Power supply cord after everything else is plugged in.

7.) Turn on your PC.

8.) Ignore and exit out of windows found new hardware. Or point it to the drive where your Installation CD is located at at.

9.) Install your Video Card drivers from the Installation CD.

10.) Update your video drivers.

There "temp" files so you *should* be able to delete all of them without any consequence. Preferably delete them when you barely turn on your computer.
