OK I have a pioneer 109 dvdrw cd burner. When I click on "my Computer" it shows dvdrw (D:) . So I click on cds in my music file trans fer them over to it. Then when I stick in a dvd it turns to cddrive(D:) and says that I did not load a cd in to it. I want to put like 2 GB 's of music on it to back up my music. Is there something I am missing here? Do I need a special program? Why would it turn from a dvd drive to a cd drive when I put in a DVD?

windows XP does that from time to time! No big deal...... what programs are you using to burn your music DVD? I used Nero to burn an MP3 DVD which plays on my DVD player through my surround sound system! I think I fit over 2000 mp3s on there. I forget..... now I have a 60Gb ipod that holds all my music and my picutres and some movies!!!!!! I take that on trips and such..... and I have my iPhone that holds my recent pictures and has some of my music on there. I'm covered!

OK See I wasn't aware that I needed a program. I thought I could just use my PC. ANy type of nero? just install it and it will run what I want it to do?

with Nero.... start smart....pick either CD/DVD or just DVD.... then pick CREATE JUKEBOX DVD...which should start Nero Express.

a DVD5 is a single sided blank DVD disk. A DVD9 is a Duel Layer/Double Layer blank DVD.

adding your files will show Name/Title/Artist and more..... you can manipulate your files in what order you want. If you see your files with a different name in Titles or Artists that's because of the PROPERTIES info is not adjusted to show the Title (album) or Artists (group) correctly. You can take the time to adjust this one by one when needed. Some members say that Nero doesn't allow them to manipulate the order of the songs that you want to have on there. It all depends on what version you have.

when you finish make sure you disable MULTISESSION!

I hope this helps a little.... it's not meant to be a pure guide.... but it should show you how to burn a MP3 DVD! good luck.

I went to down load that everything is fine except when it comes time for customer information the serial # is in the box and when I click next it says the serial # has expired??? Any ideas their?
