Hey all, I have just done a fresh install of XP, and have lost my audio device. I have tried everything I can think of, started by downloading and install ALC880 Realtek driver, nothing; then flashed bios for a fresh start, installed XP, installed ALC880, nothing. Then I got mad, removed MOBO, switched from ECS KA3 MVP to MSI Neo board, (both with onboard) and did a flash, installed XP, installed realtek, nada. My only thought is that for some odd reason my case or PSU has caused interference with audio. I have even installed an old PCI audio card, nothing is recognized! I have completely run out of ideas....Well, I have one left, it involves a large hammer and safety glasses and one slightly bent computer......
