Can I disable Notepad logging in Motorola Razr V3 ?

Hello all, I have a Motorola Razr V3 and would like to know if its possible to disable logging of last called number that is stored in NotePad, to prevent any snooping eyes from seeing my contacts. NotePad is located in the "Recent calls" section of the Razr's menu. I have read the users manual but it makes no reference to how to disable this feature.
Could anyone suggest a way to disable this logging feature???

As per Page 64 of the Users Manual for Motorola Razr V3, it says:

Using the Notepad
The most recent set of digits entered on the keypad are
stored in your phone?s notepad memory. This can be a
phone number that you called, or a number that you jot
down during a call, for later use. To retrieve the number
stored in the notepad:
Find the Feature M> Recent Calls > Notepad

I have found one option. If I lock the Recent Calls application (with my pin number) this prevents the Recent call section from opening until a PIN number is entered.
