My wife had some VCR tapes of our daughters. She dubbed a couple from tape to DVD. They play just fine on our Sony deck in the family room. It has one touch dubbing from tape to DVD or DVD to tape. When I put the DVD into my computer to make copies, my DVD recorder does NOT see the DVD. I brought up DVD decrypter for the fun of it and it says the Disc is empty. When I click on my DVD recorder on my computer I get incorrect function. When I go back to my Sony in the family room they play just fine. I have tried this with several tapes and I get the same result. Anyone have any suggestions?

Have you finalized the disc? If not, then please do so and retry.
BTW are the discs DVD-R and DVD+R, not DVD-RAM?
