Well, ive installed XP two times on the same partition and tring to delete the old one. The Windows folder deleted successfully, but the document and settings and another sp3 beta related thing wont delete. I tried deleting it on Linux n it still wont go away... Where is the options to disable this lock thing, and is there one?

Try making a bootable floppy disk and start up in MS-DOS and type
Del <and the path of the file you want deleted here>

eg
Del C:\progra~1\bestgameever.exe

Ive tried the del with Recovery Console through XP Disk, no luck, ive also tried to clear the attribute with Attrib -h-r-s or something like that. i doubt ms-dos disk would be different. Ill try later though.
thx
