NEC DVD burner won't burn Imation Forcefield DVD Blanks

I've a 16x NEC DVD burner that burn regular dvd flawless, but when I try it on the Imation Forcefield 16x DVD Blanks, it crapped out. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks...

a firmware update may help and a slow burn speed like 4x

keep in mind Imation is the worst of the worst when it comes to blank media so thats most likely the problem. using Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim media solves 99.9% of DVD burning problems

I'd be hiding behind the above 2 fellas and seeking professional help from all the problems Imation have caused me in the past; then there's the fact that a 5pack of these discs apparently weigh as much as half a bag of sugar - http://www.imation.com/products/dvd_medi...ield_discs.html

no wonder they call them Forcefield.
Other than it's going to be a firmware updated as stated above
