you have to install the kernel 1.5 add on to play homebrew games and put the games in the game150 folder after installing kernel 1.5 add on

installing the 1.50 kernel patch
#download the 150 kernel addon from here http://dark-alex.org/
#download the 150 update from here http://rapidshare.com/files/67857715/163_EBOOT_1.50.zip
#rename the 150 update eboot to 150.pbp and place it in the root of your memstick
#extract the 150 kernel addon and put the files into a folder called update
#put the update folder in GAME380 folder on memstick
#scroll to game on xmb and launch the programme
#thats it you now have the 1.50 kernel

How do you run homebrew games/apps on the PSP slim?? isn't the 1.5 kernal add-on only for the PHAT? I can't seem to get anything to run..ie mplayer, snes emulators etc.. only thing that runs are ISO games

you need to switch to CFW to use Homebrew, on that firmware you will need a pandora battery.

PsP#1 : 2.01>3.71M33-4>3.80 M33-5
PsP#2 (Slim) : 3.80>3.90M33-2 All hail the UPMS Stck
If you need a UPMS Stick go here and then go here :-) *As recommended by January39

if you only need is to play iso, cso, lso and dax games all you need is a psp,a 3.50 m33 update,3.90 m33 update and 3.52 and 3.90 oficial psp updates.google them out,im sure you will find it.
installation:
1.download all the files
2.if the 3.52 (oficial) update is eboot.pbp, then rename it to 3.52.pbp and put it in the root of the memorystick
3.if the 3.90 (oficial) update is an eboot.pbp then rename it to 390.pbp and put in the root of the memorystick
4.put the 3.52 m33 update files in psp/game/UPDATE
5.update the psp to 3.52 m33
6.put the 3.90 m33 update files to psp/game/UPDATE (delete all previous files)
7.upgrade the psp to 3.90 m33
8.put any ripped iso, cso, jso and dax files in psp/iso folder
9.in psp press select and set "umd iso mode" to "sonu np9660"
10.in the psp go to game and memorystick and you should see the iso you downloaded

NOTE! you MUST do the way i said,or else it wouldnt work!
if you have pandora, flash to 3.71 or 3.80 m33,and you can skip the part of 3.50 m33 update

YOU CAN FIND THE M33 UPDATES
