Ok so I have searched the forums and everything and I have tried reconnecting all of my cables and I even switched them with another set of cables from my other xbox. I am using a modded xbox with unleashx dashboard and a 200gb hdd with a philips drive. I had gotton on my xbox and I was working on getting linux to run on it and I had shut off my xbox and went back to my pc to burn some stuff to a dvd. Then when I got back i turned on my xbox and the drive wouldn't open. It started fine though. So I reset and tried again a few times. Then I opened it up because I thought it was my case mod pushing down on the disk and I took off that and replaced the normal drive top. Then when i booted up I got an error 12. Is there anything I can do. I mean im no expert on dvd drives but I think it would show some signs before it failed. Can someone help me plz
