Okay....I hve windows XP PRO with SP1...and AVG 7.5 As my Anti-Virus....SO..My problem is that...i want to knw how to portforward without accessing the modem!! and my PC is connected to network...and it got the the " LINKSYS WAG200G " router and i used to gain acces to it with the default password " admin " and used to portforward and use my Utorrent and other applications...but now..unfortunatly...the idiot ADMINISTRATOR hve changed the ROUTER PASSWRD..!! :( n i hve no idea how to portford..so that i can use my applications such as utorrnt and others..!!
SO is there any other way 2 do this using windows or any softwre??
plzz helpp and reply!

there should be a reset button on your router to reset the settings and the password. if you know what the settings are you can stick a pin in and hold it for about 10 seconds for it to reset.

it is not possible to forward ports without doing it through the router.

once you have recovered your password you can use this site to learn how to forward ports with your particular router.

guess thats the price you pay for mooching off someone else's network, look for another open one or just deal with slow downloads
