I heard that psp isos and eboots(of psp games) could only be run with custom firmware. However, my friend showed me his psp eboots and his system is 3.8 regular firmware. How is it possible to play psp eboots on regular firmware?? No, he didn't buy them on the PlaaystationStore

was it a demo? and are you sure it was 3.80

i know you can change the version on cfw with a program so it says 3.80

there is now way to boot games that have not been licensed by sony (for the psp) on ofw apart from 1.00,1.50 and 2.71.

try and find out where he got the game from it my be that he downloaded it from a ps3
