Hi, I've been experiencing this weird problem with all of my PC DVD games, like Call of Duty 4, and Gears Of War. It will install smoothly on my pc, with no warnings or interruptions, but when I try to play the games, it will give me the "Please insert the correct DVD and restart the application." message. I have been getting cracks for the games and just running them off of that, and it seems to work, but when I try to play gears of war, with or without the crack, it crashes about a minute into it, so i can't even load the first level.

I installed Command and Conquer 3 and I've experienced no problems with playing it when the DVD is inserted. so far thats the only PC DVD game i own that works with the DVD.

My DVD drive is a LITE-ON DVD C LH52C1P, and as far as i know the drivers are up to date.

any/all help is appreciated!
