Hello,

I've been having this problem with my PC since 2 days.

I am disconnected from the internet automatically after a couple of minutes.

Is my PC infected with a spyware or something else?

I've run hijackthis and here is the log:

for the most part; malware wants a stable connection. thats not to say it cant cause problems though. you have antivirus, windows defender and spyware doctor. as far as malware goes log looks ok. scans come up clean? any other signs of possible malware like popups, page redirection etc? if not then i would call your DSL provider.

did you install this packet capture library:

I had done a full system scan using AVG and anti-spyware but no malware were detected.

I then tried to connect to the internet using dial-up and I was amazed to see that there had not been any automatic disconnections.

Do you think there's a problem with my DSL connection?

And yes, I had installed WinPcap. Is something wrong with this program?

hi,

on second thought disable this BHO, reboot and see if that helps:

start HJT, click the "Scan" button. check the items below, close any open windows, then click "Fixed checked"
