I just picked this thing up with no hard drive, first Mac I've ever touched. I did get a copy of Mac OS X 10 (im told its the newest one), now how do I install the OS? I put the cd in the drive, and turn it on, but all I get is a grey screen with a flashing folder icon in the middle. It flashes between a "?" and a "picaso face".
The cd drive spins up and sounds like itd doing something, but Ive left it for 2 hours and no changes.
I did a google search befor asking here, and I found to hold "C" after the apple chime to boot from the cd, but I get the same screen. Can someone help me please.

**ok, I've changed the memory around, and the HD jumpers and now I get a beep and the light on the "lid opening button" blinks rapidly. Still no clue what to do... been working on this for days with no progress.
