I am trying to figure out how to burn copies of PS2 games. I have a younger brother who plays with my games all the time and I'm tired of having them ruined. I've been going through the threads and reading all the posts about how to do it, but I'm getting confused. I burn copies of my movies using Any DVD and Clone DVD 2, so I figured that it shouldn't be too hard to burn copies of games. However, I have no idea what anything is. Can someone please explain to me what a mod chip is, what swap magic is, how they work, and what exactly I need to do to burn my copies. Also, does it matter if I burn them to CDs or DVDs?

I have a slim PS2, model SCPH-79001 if that is any help.

Thanks!

you must then backup your games (rip them really)

you can then burn them to a CD/DVD depending on the size of the game!

please use the fountain of knowledge young one!

Okay, well what is a good site to get the swap magic that would work for my model. I looked on the internet, but my model is not listed on the sites' compatibility lists....

swap magic v3.6 is the latest, if your console doesn't support it then post back and we will discus your other alternatives...
