Need help Copy GOD OF WAR 2

hello,
I am a newbie here and I made a copy of playstation game " GOD OF WAR II " as a backup game and at the end I figure out that .iso image size is 7.3GB and the origianl disc was about 4.3GB I believe, so now my concern is how can I burn that 7.3GB into a regaular DVD-R 4.7GB or should I buy 8.3GB DVDs.
Please advice me if you have any suggeestions.

Yes that or shrink the ISO using the tutorial to rebuild it to 2 DVD5 disks.
What type of PS2 mod are you using for backups.

Ok well Swap Magic can't play Dual Layer Backups
Your only option is to shrink the game and then burn it to DVD5

YOu only need to register at console-exploits.com or alucard.cc if you need any other tools than the ones I have posted here.

At Alucard.cc many changes were made some time ago.
You have to go to the forum section and look for xpert tool, and for the rest go to the download section. There is PS2 Alphabetically, PS2-ripkits, PS2-Tools
But the download link I gave you to Rapidshare has most everything.
Yes I successfully backed up mine using the tools to one DVD5
The tutorial I followed though was from Hursty I believe but I can't find it.

I also just checked my GOW II backup and its 3.98GB

Yeah I just realized that the file probably expired and was deleted. Perhaps try entering the password again? It should work--type it in manually.

ok typed it manually and it worked, now did anybody go thru this part:
4. copy this join-part1-part2-file.bat into Z:\GOW2 folder and excute the join-part1-part2-file.bat file, wait 2 files merge to 1 big file NEW-PART1.PAK
if so please guide me on how to copy that join-part

Ok if you have done Steps 1-3 you will have a folder called GOW2 on let's say your C:/GOW2 drive. Is that correct
And you extracted the GOWII 7.3GB ISO into that folder with Apache
You need to download GOW2RIP.rar
So now copy join-part1-part2-file.bat into C:/GOW2 folder, then execute it.
In the future look at the top right of your posts for a text icon with pencil, click it to edit your posts instead of making a new one if no one has answered below it already.

ok I got a code error 201a -error !!! opening c:\gow2\new-part2.pak, I think I am using the iso image for GOD OF WAR and not god of war 2, will this be the problem?
also I have god of war II.nrg and I could not open it with the apche,so I tried a program called nrgtoiso and did not convert anything , size was zero, is there any other way to convert .nrg to .iso
