Hello All,

I was checking out the latest features on Nero 8 and came accross "Do you have High Definition video content but no blue laser burner? Convert HD content easily into AVCHD format, and compress content without losing quality. Your HD content can then be burned to a normal DVD and played on a Blu-ray Disc player or PlayStation® 3 for the ultimate blue laser experience."

This is under the Nero 8 - features - convert and share.

Now if I'm understanding this right It will read the blue ray files (Any DVD being kind enough of course) and then compress a blue ray movie while retaining the hi def quality and putting it on a regular dvd to be played back in a blue ray player?

that would be nice as we would not need to burn to blue ray disks :-)

If some one could shed some light on this for me i would appreciate it!
