Downloaded, installed, then ran Innotek virtual box on Windows PC (WinXP Pro)and setup Windows XP Pro in it.Doesn't detect Win Modem.States 'modem error or not detected',showing modem is on Com1.But on my base O/S, it's actually situated on Com3.I was told by a technician, I may need an external modem.Told I couls move the modem to another slot or change it to Com1. Anyone know how to get the virtual O/S to detect my working modem ?

Or how to configure modem so it's detected on Ubunbtu 7.0 or any other Linux version installed on a Windows PC?
