A buddy of mine just gave me a Sylvania video/mp3 player model number SMPK2021.The probelm is, that he no longer has the installation disc for it so I cannot get the device to work/get music or videos on it. Sorry if I'm in the wrong forum but I've searched all over and I'm having no luck.

When I first plugged it into my usb port it picked up, and said new hardware noticed. But when I clicked on it it'd do nothing. Now, when I plug it on I get absolutely nothing at all.

Thanks for any help!

OK, now when I plug it in it doesn't even say found new hardware. Is there a place where I can find firmware or something to get it to pick up?

Yeah, I tried going directly to the site but had no luck. It gives you an abode manual on the device but no software link or anything.

Look up softpedia and search for " (Your model) (Manufacturer) "

No one can give you wiser advise than yourself.
